Fourth St., La Center. • 7 p.m., regular meeting: an ordinance establishing the ad valorem taxes by increasing property tax revenue from the previous year by 1 percent, establishing a 6 percent utility excise tax on the gross revenues derived from the sale of electricity, water services, telephone services, cable television and natural gas within the city, establishing a 2 percent tax on the rental of transient rooms within the city and adopting the budget for 2017.
