Vancouver’s Langsdorf scores winner in NCAA soccer tourney

Vancouver’s Foster Langsdorf scored in overtime as the Stanford men’s soccer team beat Virginia 1-0 to advance in the NCAA tournament.

Langsdorf, a Mountain View High School grad, headed home the golden-goal winner in the 105th minute.  Stanford will play Louisville on Dec. 3 in the quarterfinals.

Langsdorf now has 15 goals in 21 matches this season. He was named Pac-12 co-player of the year.
