Letter: Protect animals, don’t eat meat

By Diego Paris, Vancouver

I am almost 10 years old and have been a vegan since I was 8. I don’t eat meat because people can get diseases from meat. Farmers use hormones, pesticides and dyes in meat that hurt our bodies. Also, the animals are being tricked by being fed and cared for their whole lives, only to be killed once they are grown. So, do you still eat meat? I beg of you all to consider not eating meat.
