Meadow Homes — The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Vancouver Conference provided more than 360 families with a complete Turkey dinner meal to prepare as part of its annual Thanksgiving box distribution.

More than 75 volunteers ranging in age from 8 to 88 helped with the event, and 38 kids from St. Joseph Catholic School in Vancouver volunteered to pre-fill the non-perishable items on Nov. 18. Organized pickup was at St. Vincent, 2456 N.E. Stapleton Road, Vancouver, on Nov. 19.

About 50 boxes were delivered by volunteers to residents who couldn’t pick up their food. St. Vincent will run a Christmas meal box distribution on Dec. 17, with pick-up at the same location.
