VANCOUVER – Officials with the Port of Vancouver will workshop the port’s 2017 budget after its usual Board of Commissioners meeting 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the port administrative office, 3103 N.W. Lower River Road.

Port staffers will answer questions and walk through the budget with commissioners Jerry Oliver, Brian Wolfe and Eric LaBrant, the port said in a press release Thursday. The release also said that commissioners may consider adopting the budget at a meeting on Oct. 25, at which point the public can provide input.

Adopting the preliminary budget is the first step in the public process of adopting the final 2017 Port of Vancouver budget, which will be voted on by the commission by the end of November, the port said.
