Letter: Barnes knows public utilities

By Julia Anderson, WOODLAND
Published: October 10, 2016, 6:00am

In an era of transition and change in the energy industry, we need an experienced and committed public representative on our Clark Public Utilities commission. That is why I am supporting Nancy Barnes for re-election to the three-member utility commission. Barnes understands the challenges facing our publicly owned utility, she is committed to holding power rates down and she asks tough questions of utility staff and at regional power-planning meetings. Her knowledge, experience and track record will serve us well.

Please vote for Nancy Barnes.
