Letter: Vote for Probst for Senate

By Al Bauer, VANCOUVER
Published: October 13, 2016, 6:00am

Southwest Washington can be highly pleased and awarded for having the state Director of Workforce Development for the Department of Employment Security Tim Probst living in our area and running for the vacant 17th District position.

His knowledge and experience in education and job training makes him the ideal person to represent us in the Senate. In the past, while serving his district in the House of Representatives, Probst, among other things, prime sponsored the Washington Opportunity Scholarship Act, which enabled over 10,000 families to better afford college. The bill passed almost unanimously, showing us that Probst can work across the aisle.

We must not fail to capitalize on his experience, knowledge and dedication. Join me in electing Tim Probst our next state senator from the 17th Legislative District.
