Letter: Holt will represent district

By Chris Prothero, Vancouver

Fort Worth, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. — what do these cities have in common? Ann Rivers has received top contributions from donors in these cities. Are they legal? Yes. Shouldn’t our representatives be working for us, not them?

Enter Eric Holt. His grass-roots approach reaches out to those within his district to hear and understand issues that face people who actually live here. Holt is exactly what we need to break the gridlock in Olympia.

Do you want contributors from Sunrise, Fla., dictating our policies? No? Then Eric Holt should be your choice on Nov. 8.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
