Local sailor teaching others

Central Vancouver — Petty Officer 2nd Class Evan Fitch of Vancouver is aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard, which is a flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group. It is operating in the South China Sea in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region. Fitch is spending time aboard the ship teaching blood-drawing techniques to other officers.
