Clark adds welding certification test

Clark College is now offering its welding students certification tests required for welding professionals doing code work in Washington.

The tests, approved by the Washington Association of Building Officials, will give students a chance to earn 3G Limited Certification and 3G and 4G Unlimited Certifications.

The tests are normally offered at private institutes. By offering them at Clark College, students and recent graduates can take the 3G limited test for $230 and the 3G and 4G Unlimited tests at $280 — a steep discount from private testing.

For more information, contact welding technologies instructor Brian McVay at bmcvay@clark.edu or 360-992-2359.
