Letter: Trump is good news for America

By Elizabeth Eckels, Vancouver

I am extremely tired of your paper’s constant criticism of Donald Trump. I never see any of Trump’s positive accomplishments announced.

This country needs a person who can complete projects ahead of schedule, and under budget. Trump has done this many times. Trump is not always politically correct. So what?

A lot is at stake here. Our country is $20 trillion in debt. We need a serious negotiator to deal with some countries that are not too nice. We desperately need a president who knows how to get things done: Donald Trump. Let’s hear a little good news about him for a change.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
