A large anonymous donation late Thursday helped push DiscoverOrg’s Finance Department over its $10,000 fundraising goal to benefit the Evergreen Public Schools Family and Community Resource Center.

A donor gave $7,285 to the company’s online fundraiser on crowdrise.com, staff accountant Eric LaBrant, also a Port of Vancouver commissioner, said Friday. DiscoverOrg is also hosting a companywide fundraiser, including donations from all departments of money, clothing and toiletries.

The Family and Community Resource Centers provide food and clothing assistance, school supplies, volunteer opportunities, employment services and other services to Evergreen families at all the district’s elementary school campuses.

Vancouver-based DiscoverOrg provides data to companies to help them boost their sales.
