Letter: Clinton has ungodly plan

Almost all agree that this election will be a pivotal moment in our history. I believe that it comes down to using the power of government to eliminate the Catholic moral influence from American life. It’s not just about Catholics; any Christian who believes they’re exempt need only to recall Hillary Clinton’s April 2015 speech at the Women’s World Summit where she said: “Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated religious beliefs have to be changed.”

This is a continuation of President Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of the U.S., using government to eliminate Christian moral influence from American life.

Clinton, like Obama, intends to use government to expunge moral teachings from American public and private life. Do you want to live without religious liberty or with diminished religious freedom?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
