Letter: Councilor is clever, we think

By Earl Valentine, BATTLE GROUND

In his Sept. 3 “Press Talk” column, Columbian Editor Lou Brancaccio seemed surprised that one of our favorite Ms from the M&M boys was backing a Democrat for county council and did not consider the possibility that “M” is applying “reverse psychology.”

You see, his support has been the kiss of death for many of those he backed in various races.

So he may believe that his support of Democrat Tanisha Harris would result in Republican John Blom’s election. Or, perhaps he is thinking that we may be thinking what he is thinking and he is really supporting Harris and applying “reverse reverse psychology.”

But then again, “M” is a devious fellow (recall petition), and may be really applying “reverse reverse reverse psychology.” I triple dog dare you to figure him out!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
