Letter: Support I-735 on ballot

By Jane McAlonan, VANCOUVER

Only people have constitutional rights. Corporations were not given constitutional rights. Why do we allow corporations to buy our elections and control our media? We pay taxes that are used for media brainwashing. We should use it for good education for everyone, and for fair elections.

Originally, corporations lost their charters when they did something that harmed the people.

To return our constitutional rights, vote “yes” on Initiative 735.

The U.S. Supreme Court is not elected and had no right to give constitutional rights to corporations.
