If African-American athletes are sitting out the national anthem to protest the treatment of African-Americans, then I suggest they take a more positive approach to the problem and donate some of their millions of dollars to the Dr. Martin Luther King Foundation, which could, with the money, address the problems of inner-city families, particularly the youngsters.
Given the millionaire football, baseball and basketball players, and millionaire African-American entertainers and politicians, they could raise a great deal of money and solve the problems about which they seem to harbor such passion. Just imagine what positive results could be achieved by standing up and facing problems rather than just sitting down and turning a blind eye to them.
