Non-league football: Hoquiam 35, Stevenson 14

Hoquiam blew open a close game at halftime with a big second half.

Stevenson was tied 14-14 at the intermission. The Bulldogs scored on a 32-yard pass from Luke Nichols to Austin Pearson in the first quarter. They added another touchdown on Clayton Hansen’s 2-yard run in the second.

Nichols finished with 6-of-11 passing for 146 yards. Lincoln Krog rushed for 60 yards on five carries for the Bulldogs (2-1).
