Letter: Flip-flopping Trump wrong for U.S.

Here we go again. Donald Trump is claiming again what a terrific and charismatic man Vladimir Putin is. Putin, the dictator of Russia, was elected 16 years ago, then outlawed elections. Putin is obviously still a card-carrying Communist who wants the old Soviet Union back.

Wasn’t it just a few months ago when Donald Trump claimed he doesn’t know the man? But before he ran for president he bragged about having a great time with Putin, partying down at Putin’s private lodge and everything in between.

So it’s the same old flip-flopping again. Trump reminds me of a trout in a boat, flip-flopping back and forth.

I know why he thinks Putin is such a wonderful guy: Putin claimed that Trump was a genius. The truth of the matter is, Trump is an idiot, plain and simple.

If he became president he would probably lease the United States to good old buddy Putin, or sell it to China. After all, isn’t that what a businessman would do, look for a profit to fill his pockets?

It is obvious he is all flip-flop and all mouth with no backbone or strategy or strategic plan for this country.

Beware — if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
