Battle Ground – Clark County residents can drop off recyclables in Battle Ground on Saturday.

Clark County and Battle Ground will hold a Green Neighbors Recycling Day event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Battle Ground High School at 300 W. Main St.

Residents can drop off block foam, electronic equipment, up to five old tires without rims, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and scrap metal. They also can bring up to two banker boxes of paper to shred.

Recycling Day Events are free. Proof of Clark County residency, such as a driver’s license, might be required.

Green Neighbors, a Clark County Public Health program, sponsors the event with support from a Washington State Department of Ecology grant.
