Vancouver – If you got an email from Burgerville redeemable for a $1 cheeseburger, take a breath. It’s legit.

The Pacific Northwest burger chain on Tuesday issued vouchers to its email subscribers as an apology for selling out when it ran the same promotion on National Cheeseburger Day.

The chain said turnout for the event was unprecedented and admits to being underprepared, according to the coupon.

This time, the $1 cheeseburger promotion is good until Oct. 2 and carries a per-customer limit of 20. No, that’s not a typo. If you’re on the Burgerville email list, chances are you have a coupon for up to 20 $1 cheeseburgers.
