Woodland — Woodland city officials are looking for residents to join an advisory committee, which will be responsible for providing city councilors with a recommendation on a potential ballot measure regarding the Woodland Police Department. The ballot measure would provide funds for additional police staffing.

The committee will begin May 1 and will conclude once the city council takes action, if any, to place a measure on the November ballot. Anyone interested is asked to contact Mayor Will Finn at finnw@city.woodland.wa.us.
