Letter: Herrera Beutler on the right side

Seldom do I find myself supporting a decision made by Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, as she usually votes the way House Speaker Paul Ryan or the Republican Party tells her to.

I am not sure why the sudden change of tactics, but I commend Herrera Beutler for voting this time with the best interest of her constituents in mind. I want to thank her for not supporting the horrible disaster which is the GOP replacement for Obamacare called the American Health Care Act.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
