Esther Short — Clark County officials collected supplies to put together Easter baskets for kids at Share’s homeless shelter, YWCA Clark County’s SafeChoice domestic violence shelter and Open House Ministries. Some county staffers hosted an Easter Basket Assembly Extravaganza on April 8 at the Public Service Center to put together the baskets. After the drive and extravaganza, which was organized by Jennifer Clark, administrative assistant and social event coordinator in the county manager’s office, they assembled a total of 375 baskets. They also collected $1,085 to assist with buying supplies to make the baskets.
