PORTLAND — Police in Oregon say the body of a missing university student has been found, and his death is believed to be a suicide.

The Newberg-Dundee Police Department says detectives found Daniel Mellers’ body in the trunk of his car. It was parked in Sherwood, roughly 10 miles from where the 21-year-old student attended George Fox University.

Mellers was last seen Saturday night. He never returned after telling roommates he was walking to a convenience store to buy soda.
