Startup Weekend returns, starts up June 2

VANCOUVER – A weekend-long crash course in entrepreneurship will return June.

Startup Weekend, which puts attendees in groups to develop, plan and launch companies over 54 hours, will be held June 2-4 at Colab Coworking, 915 Broadway.

Up to eight mentors will be on hand to work with people in developing their ideas, organizers said. Tickets are on sale, with a $75 early bird special running through Wednesday. Tickets from then on cost $99.

The event is catered, with seven meals provided in the three days.
