Vancouver Public Schools receives clean audit

Vancouver Public Schools received a clean audit report from the state for the 11th year in a row, the district announced.

The audit, conducted by the Washington State Auditor’s Office, evaluates district financial statements, internal controls and compliance with state and federal laws. The state found no deficiencies or areas needing improvement.

The audit period ran from Sept. 1, 2015, through Aug. 31, 2016.
