Clark College Music Department announces choral auditions for the Women’s Choral Ensemble, Concert Choir and Clark College Chorale. Vocalists are invited to audition for all parts with the three choirs, with auditions scheduled by appointment. Columbia River Sweet Adelines Chorus seeks women 16 and older for four-part harmony. The ability to read music is not required. Vancouver Community Concert Band seeks all brass, woodwind and percussion players, active and retired. All abilities welcome, no audition required. The volunteer community band, along with its polka band, Dixieland Jazz Band and chamber ensembles, performs regularly around the area. Amboy Territorial Days seeks submissions for its annual Photography Show, open to all ages, as part of the annual Territorial Days festivities. Ribbons will be awarded in five different subject categories– portrait, landscape/seascape, animal/plant, buildings, work/play–along with the People’s Choice Award. Participants are limited to three photographs, mounted on 8 inch by 10 inch backing. Clark County Open Studios Tour seeks artists living and working in Clark County for the self-guided studio tour in November. The juried process will select artists working in all media for the tour. Gallery 360 seeks submissions for the July’s show “RED,” an open, non-juried show limited to one artwork per artist. The dominate color or focus must be red.
