Clark County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a suspected homicide at a home in Brush Prairie after the body of a man was found Thursday night in a shed on the property.

Someone called 911 at about 10:30 p.m. to report that a body was found in a shed at 15308 N.E. 172nd Ave., southeast of Hockinson High School, according to the sheriff’s office.

Responding deputies found the body of a white man believed to be in his 30s in the shed. They suspected his death was likely a homicide, the sheriff’s office said, and notified major crimes detectives.

The man, who has not been identified, did not live at the property, the sheriff’s office said.

Detectives are continuing to investigate and expect to work through the weekend. The man’s body was turned over to the medical examiner’s office to determine cause and manner of death.
