Innovative Services seeks donations for school supplies

Central Vancouver — Innovative Services NW is looking for some help preparing kids to start kindergarten this fall. The nonprofit is looking to provide backpacks filled with supplies to 32 students graduating the pre-kindergarten program. Innovative is looking to fill each backpack with a pair of child-size scissors, box of crayons, pack of pencils, pack of markers, pack of three glue sticks and spiral wide-ruled notebook. Anyone interested in donating to the students is asked to contact Lynn at 360-892-5142 ext. 124 or lmadden@innovativeservicesnw.org, or they can drop off supplied at the front desk at Innovative Services, 9414 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The nonprofit serves more than 1,700 children and adults facing disabilities and disadvantages.
