Police find several explosive devices on SE Division

PORTLAND — Southeast Division Street was partially closed Wednesday as Portland police’s bomb squad investigated a suspicious device found outside a model train store.

The suspicious device was reported outside Whistle Stop Trains at 11724 S.E. Division St. at about 4 p.m., Portland police spokesman Sgt. Chris Burley said.

Portland police found several explosive devices, which the bomb squad rendered safe, police spokesman Sgt. Chris Burley said.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community.

Southeast Division Street reopened about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Police ask anyone with information about the device to contact them at 503-823-3333.
