Lakeshore — The soccer fields at All Saints Episcopal Church were dedicated in the memory of Dan Haase, a longtime supporter of soccer at the church. He was a leader and advocate for local soccer players as the team lead for All Saints Soccer Ministry. Haase could be found at the fields each Saturday, rain or shine, greeting players and their families and hanging out cookies and water provided by the All Saints Soccer Ministry Team. The Salmon Creek Soccer Club, who frequently used the field, donated a memorial bench in Haase’s honor, located where he would normally sit. “This could be just another patch of grass, but the wonderful people like Dan Haase who are involved with the teams and support the kids make this place something very special,” Jeff Thomas, representing Salmon Creek Soccer, said in a release from the church.
