Central Park — Clark College’s Castine Cruz was one of nearly 1,000 undergraduate students to earn a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship courtesy of the U.S. Department of State. The scholarship allows students to study abroad during the 2017-2018 academic year. Cruz is an international student from Guam who came to Clark to study health, biology, psychology and anthropology, and is expected to graduate in spring 2018. With the scholarship, she will travel to Costa Rica to study for four weeks during the school year.
