City payment system outage planned

Vancouver – The city of Vancouver will shut down some of its payment systems during a software system upgrade.

Utility bill payments can’t be made online or via phone from noon Sept. 1 through Sept. 5. Walk-in customers can still go to the City of Vancouver Utility Services, 2323 General Anderson Road.

For parking permit and citation payments and Oracle invoices and loans, walk-in payments at City Hall will be limited to cash and checks starting noon Sept. 1 until Sept. 5. For more information, visit www.cityofvancouver.us/AtYourService or call 360-487-7999.

Online payments for building, development and construction-related permits will be unavailable from 5 p.m. Sept. 1 until Sept. 5. Walk-in payments will be available at the Community and Economic Development permit counter at Vancouver City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St., during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
