Boys basketball: Skyview 79, Lake Oswego 65

Cole Grossman had 21 points and seven rebounds, and Alex Schumacher added 18 points and eight assists as Skyview held on against Lake Oswego (Ore.).

Kyle Gruhler hit 3 3-pointers in the second quarter as Skyview took a 44-29 lead into halftime. The Storm stretched that lead to 22 after three quarters.

“Then we got a little lackadaisacal, and Lake Oswego hit us in the mouth in the fourth,” Skyview coach Matt Gruhler said. “They got it down to eight before we were able to make a few extra stops.”

Skyview iced the game by going 7 for 7 from the free throw line down the stretch.

Samaad Hector finished with a double-double of 10 points and 14 rebounds.
