Boys basketball: Camas 74, Tigard (Ore.) 59

Isaiah Sampson dropped 20 points and grabbed 11 boards and Camas ran past Tigard 74-59 on Friday night.

The Papermakers trailed for much of the first quarter, then stole a one-point lead heading into the half.

In the third quarter, they erupted. Treton Carlisle scored 10 of his 13 points in the third and Camas led by double digits from there on out.

“We came out motivated in the third quarter,” Camas coach Ryan Josephson said. “It was really night and day.”

Tigard was led by Steve Schlabach’s 32 points.
