Letter: Loss of net neutrality is harmful

It seems the Federal Communications Commission and its head don’t understand what the word “neutrality” means. They have just ruled the internet will no longer be neutral, blaming regulations, of course. The policy of net neutrality was put in place in 2015.

If something is not “neutral,” somebody is going to be on top and somebody is going to be a loser. You and I, most likely, will be losers. Big corporations will benefit, as is the case in all Republican-guided legislation, with duplicity being the norm.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
