Girls Basketball: Union 66, Lynnwood 56

Mason Oberg scored 17 of her 23 points in the second half as Union opened with a win at the Mountlake Terrace Holiday Tournament.

Oberg, a sophomore point guard, made four of her team’s eight 3-pointers.

Mackenzie Lewis added 14 points, nine of which came in the first half.

Toryi Midland had 12 points, nine rebounds and six blocks for the Titans (8-2).
