Avery Seter had 24 points to lead La Center past Granger in the Lynden Christian Tournament.

The Wildcats went down nine early in the first, but rallied to tie the game up at half.

Seter hit three 3s in the third quarter, where he scored 16 of his 24 points. That boost helped La Center up double digits, and Granger never threatened.

“There was a four-to-five minute spurt where they could not stop him,” La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said. “Once he got going there they were really never able to get back.”

Hunter Ecklund pitched in 20 points, nine assists and eight rebounds for the Wildcats, who turn around and play undefeated Lynden Christian at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
