American Red Cross Blood Program needs couriers to pick up and deliver blood products, blood drive ambassadors to help once a month registering donors and offering food, blankets, and water, and canteen assistants to provide donors with juice and cookies after donating. Weekday help is needed, but evening and weekend shifts are also available.

Boomerang is looking for customer service volunteers in the thrift store and coffee shop.

Clark County Veterans Assistance Center needs volunteers to greet veterans, determine the type of assistance they need and direct them to resources. Help in the office is also needed.

FISH of Vancouver and FISH of Orchards seek drivers and haulers to pick up donated merchandise, and volunteers to sort donations and help in the office.

Free Clinic of Southwest Washington has many opportunities. The greatest needs are for volunteers to greet and register patients, order lab tests, and optometric or ophthalmic techs.

VA Medical Center seeks activity assistants at its Community Living Center. Help with scheduled activities like Bingo, escorting to movies and outings. Volunteers should be able to commit to a schedule and be physically able to push patients in wheelchairs.
