Washougal — Washougal School District’s kitchens were audited by the county health department in January, and every school had zero violations, according to Mark Jasper, Nutrition Services director from Sodexo. Washougal High School received a surprise inspection on Jan. 23 by EcoSure, a third party company that Sodexo contracts with to review food and safety standards. The school received 100 percent marks for both. “I truly appreciate the effort of our kitchen staff employees to keep standards high day in and day out at all of our facilities.” Jasper said in a release from the district. “These high ratings represent the hard work and continuous improvement to the food and safety systems in place at Washougal.”
