Clark College hosts food summit Friday

Clark College will host a full-day food summit Friday featuring a series of talks and breakout sessions on the local food system.

The summit runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Clark College’s Columbia Tech Center campus at 18700 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. in Vancouver. Break out sessions cover topics such as sustainable farming, food business and fermented foods.

Clark College worked with the Clark County Food System Council and Slow Food Southwest Washington to develop the summit, which is funded by a Department of Education Grant.
