1 killed after being struck by Seattle light rail train

SEATTLE — A person was killed after being struck by a light rail train in Seattle.

KOMO reports that emergency crews responded to the scene at the Othello station Monday morning after receiving reports of a person trapped under the train.

A Sound Transit spokesperson said that light rail service was temporarily interrupted in the area due to the accident.
