Boys basketball: Camas 62, Battle Ground 43

Alex Glikbarg scored 29 points and Camas shut out Battle Ground in the second quarter for a 4A GSHL win.

On a night honoring nine Camas seniors, the Papermakers trailed 16-12 after one quarter. But Camas responded by outscoring Battle Ground 18-0 in the second.

“We started playing harder,” Camas coach Skyler Gillispie said. “They started dialing up the pressure and getting their hands on the ball.”

Glikbarg scored steadily throughout the game. The senior guard scored in transistion and made three 3-pointers.

“He just did the little things that added up,” Gillispie said.

Tanner Fogle added 11 points for Camas (9-7, 5-2), which moved into second place in the 4A GSHL.

Daelon Floyd had 15 points to lead Battle Ground (5-10, 0-7).
