Letter: Millennial up to the challenge

By Audrey Mattoon, VANCOUVER
Published: July 2, 2017, 6:00am

Vancouver is a dynamic city on the cusp of major changes and increasingly a destination for many young people looking to live and work in a vibrant community. Our city council should reflect that; Nicolette Horaites would be the city councilor that Vancouver’s future needs. Her personal understanding of the challenges posed by Vancouver’s affordable housing crisis and her fresh eye for solutions to support Vancouver’s young and working families puts her ahead of the pack. Vancouver’s city council should look like Vancouver’s future and so I strongly urge everyone to vote for Horaites for Vancouver City Council Position 1.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
