Letter: Citizens are taxed out

I see the budget passed by the Legislature includes a substantial property-tax increase. As one who is pretty much taxed out, I suggest the Legislature look at eliminating the property tax exemption for all those “friends of,” “keepers of,” and “trust for” groups.

Also, having received a rather large increase for my auto license, I think it’s time to look at all the bikes on the highways for some funding.
