Alexa Efraimson ran a season-best time of 4 minutes, 4.75 seconds in the 1,500 meters Saturday in The Netherlands.

The 20-year-old Nike runner from Camas finished sixth at the Nacht van di Atletik meet in Heusden. American Colleen Quigley won in 4:03.93.

Efraimson’s time is a season-best by more than one second. It’s also her fastest since running a personal-best of 4:03.39 in 2015 at the Prefontaine Classic.

Efraimson is currently competing on a busy competitive tour of Europe.

Wednesday, she won the 800 meters in Liege, Belgium in 2:01.61.

On July 16, she placed second in the 1,500 in Padova, Italy, in 4:06.12.

On July 12, she won the 1,500 meters at the Morton Games in Dublin, Ireland. She used a strong kick to win in 4:06.73.
