County employees donate to food bank

Minnehaha — As part of the county’s Year of Giving campaign, county employees filled nine barrels with food — a total of 1,794 pounds — to donate to the Clark County Food Bank. They also donated $100. The sheriff’s office brought in the most food, and was recognized for its efforts at the July 11 county council meeting. Departments in the Center for Community Health finished in second place.
