Hough — The Clark County Newcomers Club donated $4,077 to Second Step Housing, the club’s chosen charity for the year. Money came from the club’s spring “murder mystery” play with dinner, which also raised money through gift basket raffles. The club helps people new to Clark County get to know the area by introducing them to entertainment, recreation and neighbors. The club is open to anyone. Second Step Housing aims to offer opportunities that foster self-sufficiency through affordable housing partnered with community services.
