About three years ago, I attended a Port of Vancouver meeting and spoke up about volatile organic compounds, or VOCs, and the fact that the proposed terminal/shipment site is upwind of the prevailing Southwest winds for all of Vancouver and Clark County. Plus, the site is upwind of the Fruit Valley Elementary School.
