Bremerton – Authorities say a husband shot his estranged wife and then himself at a storage facility in East Bremerton.

The Kitsap Sun reported that authorities responded to the facility Thursday morning and found two people with gunshot wounds.

Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Scott Wilson said the 40-year-old woman and her stepfather had met her 41-year-old husband at a different location and followed each other to the storage facility where they have household items.

Wilson said when the woman got out of the vehicle, the man shot her with a handgun and then shot himself in the head.

The man was flown to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. The woman was taken to a Bremerton hospital with severe but not life-threatening wounds. The stepfather wasn’t injured.
